Troy then sits back down on his bed and resumes his game. | His parents are arguing downstairs, however their dialogue is indistinct. But you can make out Troy is the topic of the argument. Mother: “all he does is play on that stupid game! He’s throwing his life away!” Door slams cutting the argument dead. |

He looks to his phone, which is on the bed next to him, he reaches out to it to find a message from someone called Julia and the message reads: “do u hav 2nd free?” He stands up, grabs his bag, and walks out his bedroom. | The noise of shooting from the game, and tapping on the controller. This is cut dead by the vibration of his mobile phone. |
Outside school | Troy is slowly walking down a road, until he catches sight of something, from his POV who is walking in to school ahead of him. | Sound of Troy’s footsteps |
“ “ | He then speeds up to go and talk to her (Julia, aged 16/17). Behind her are other students walking in. | Troy: Julia! Julia: Oh, hey Troy : Got your text, so… how’s it going? Julia: Not too bad, how about you, how’s life? Troy : s’alright I guess, could be worse. Julia: … That’s good to hear… urm I’ve got a lesson now, so I’ll speak to you later. Troy: Oh ok, see you later then. |

“ “ | Troy scrambles on the floor to get them, but he is then pushed to the floor. The boys then circle around him to prevent him from escaping. | Bully 1: You neek, why’ve you got so many books! Bully 2: Innit, you stupid tosspot! Bully 3: Its coz he’s trying to impress that Julia girl! Bully 4: Why? She’s butters! Troy: Piss off! |
Outside the school | Clearly affected by the comment about Julia, Troy shoves past the boys taunting him and walks quickly into school. | All of the bullies will be shouting insults at Troy, most of which will be about his supposed crush on Julia |
Reception area | Once inside Troy quickly walks around the corner of the reception area to avoid the taunting of his peers. | Sound of Troy speed walking away. |
